Privacy policy
Monderovia B.V. (‘Monderovia’, ‘we’) cares about the careful handling of personal data. This privacy policy describes which data we process when you visit monderovia.com, fill in a form or subscribe to our Eco newsletter, and on which legal basis. We follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act and the 2026 guidance of the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Controller and contact
The controller is Monderovia B.V., registered in the Dutch trade register under KvK number 84216792, with registered office at Spaarndammerdijk 312, 1014 AA Amsterdam. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@monderovia.com. In principle, we reply to your request within 30 days.
Which data we process
Through the contact form we receive your name, email address and the message you choose to share. When you use the website we process technical data such as a shortened IP address, browser type, language preference and anonymous page statistics. For advertising cookies and extended statistics we ask for your prior consent through our cookie banner.
Purposes and legal basis
We process your data to answer your question, to send you the Eco newsletter, to keep the website secure and available, and to improve our publications. The legal basis is your consent, the performance of an agreement or our legitimate interest in a well-functioning, protected website.
Retention periods
Messages from the contact form are kept for a maximum of 24 months, unless legal periods require longer retention. Newsletter subscriptions are kept as long as you remain subscribed; you can always unsubscribe free of charge through the link at the bottom of every edition.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. For hosting, mail delivery and ad measurement we work with processors within the European Economic Area, with whom we have signed data processing agreements. Transfers to countries outside the EEA only take place under suitable safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security
Monderovia applies appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and periodic reviews, to protect your data against loss or unauthorised access.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated to reflect new insights or changes in regulation. The most current version is published on this page, with the date of the latest update.
